When we think of the F-150, the first image that usually comes to mind is a truck towing or hauling something or perhaps exploring deep in the woods. However, some truck owners prefer sticking to the streets and never venturing off-road. The Ford F-150 Lobo is aimed squarely at them.
The concept isn’t new at Ford, as the brand already offers a Lobo version of the Maverick. But now, the American automaker has decided to expand the offering to the hugely popular F-150.
The Lobo package joins the 2026 Ford F-150 lineup as an upgrade to the STX trim. Ford chose to pair it with the 5.0-liter V8 engine, which delivers 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. In my opinion, that’s an excellent choice, as street truck enthusiasts tend to favor eight-cylinder engines. In addition, Ford’s Coyote V8 offers a wealth of tuning and customization possibilities.
Unlike off-road-focused trucks, street trucks benefit from a lowered suspension and that’s exactly what the F-150 Lobo delivers. The truck also gets a reworked body to give it a look that hugs the pavement. The grille, front and rear bumpers, and side skirts have all been redesigned. As a bonus, the package includes massive 22-inch wheels.
The Ford F-150 Lobo will be available in five colors: Agate Black Metallic, Oxford White, Rapid Red, Carbonized Gray, and Atlas Blue Metallic.
The Lobo package is a bold and stylish offering that’s sure to turn heads. So, with all the included modifications, how much can you expect to pay? Unsurprisingly, the F-150 Lobo isn’t cheap, with a starting price of $74,590 $6,350 more than the F-150 STX. And don’t forget to add destination and delivery fees, which bring the total to $77,185 before taxes. It’s not within everyone’s budget, but I believe this new package will be very popular nonetheless.
