$0 gas bills

Electric cars are less expensive to maintain and operate than gas cars - meaning you could save up to $2000 in repairs each year.

Built Ford tough

All of our EVs are tough as nails, but theyʼre also environmentally friendly. Thatʼs right, the majority of your EVʼs electricity comes from our provinceʼs clean, renewable energy sources. And electricity is cleaner and cheaper than gas.

How to apply for your rebate?

Rebates are available for eligible 100% all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles purchased or leased between April 1, 2022 and March 15, 2023.

Once you have purchased your EV, you can apply for the rebate online, or by downloading the application form and submitting it by email or mail.

Your application package must include:

  • A completed and signed rebate application.
  • A copy of the final bill of sale or lease contract from an authorized dealer in Canada, indicating the date of purchase.
  • Proof that your vehicle is registered for use within Newfoundland and Labrador. A copy of the final vehicle permit that lists the VIN and vehicle information from Service NL must be provided; an application or receipt is not proper documentation. It must be the full permit that contains your and your car's information.

Applications that do not include all required information could result in a processing delay and possible denial of your rebate application.

Note: The rebate cheque will be mailed to the address provided on the application. Email is the preferred form of communication and will speed up processing of your rebate. If you do not have an email address, you may list the email of a family member. If listed, you are authorizing us to communicate with them on your behalf.
